A new modern leisure centre for Swanley, which is covered by Sevenoaks District Council, was given the go ahead at a Council meeting on 21 April 2020 - and the scheme's cost of £20 million makes it the largest project undertaken by the authority for 30 years.

The 100-mile cycle ride starts from the charity’s headquarters in Otford on Friday 18 September, with two overnight stops at Lamberhurst and Lewes, before arriving at Arundel, East Sussex, on Sunday, 20 September.

Sevenoaks Suns defeated Durham Palatinates to win the National Cup 74-64 in Arena Birmingham on January 26th. The win, in front of 9,000 basketball fans, gave the Suns the only major trophy that had eluded them in the leagues first 6 years of existence.

This year's 7oaks Triathlon, being held in the Sevenoaks area on Sunday, 19 April, will once again be working in conjunction with the charity ellenor.
