A big-hearted Sevenoaks resident, who was recently diagnosed with an advanced and inoperable brain tumour which has left him almost wheelchair bound, is aiming to overcome his health issues to raise money for Children in Need.
Holmesdale Bowls Club is open again. Members can play anytime, although there are a few restrictions in place to comply with social distancing advice. There are organised roll ups, in casual clothes for now, and they take place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2-4 p.m. Anyone interested in taking up bowls can pop along to the Club in Worships Hill, Riverhead during those times.
