Sevenoaks Panto announces West End cast

Stars of WickedEverybody’s Talking About JamieJersey Boys and Kinky Boots join Silly Billy, in Alice In Wonderland at the Stag Sevenoaks this Christmas!
Melissa Jacques, who starred at Margaret New in the West End and Los Angeles productions of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, will play the Queen Of Hearts. Mel wowed the Stag panto audiences as the Pirate Queen in last year’s pantomime Treasure Island, and will return to Sevenoaks this Christmas.
Nikki Bentley, best known for playing Elphaba in the smash hit West End musical Wicked, previously filled Sevenoaks with her voice as one of the stars of West End Live On The Vine in 2021, and will be joining the Sevenoaks Panto cast to play the White Rabbit.
Rosie Glossop, from the West End’s Kinky Boots, will join the cast to play the Caterpillar, direct from the brand new musical Identical, directed by Trevor Nunn. No stranger to the Stag, Rosie appeared in the 2020 live broadcast panto, Jack And The Two Metre Beanstalk.
Jacob McIntosh, who is currently starring in Jersey Boys in London, will play the Cheshire Cat in this year’s panto. Jacob has previously appeared in Peter Pan at the Stag in 2018, and played Jack Trott in the 2020 live broadcast panto Jack And The Two Metre Beanstalk.
Comedy legend Silly Billy, aka Ant Payne, will be teaming up once again with panto dame Jamie Alexander Wilson to play the Mad Hatter and the Duchess. Ant and Jamie can also regularly be found in London’s West End, mostly waiting for an Uber.
Auditions for the title role of Alice will be held at the Stag Sevenoaks in September. Dance auditions will also be held in September. Casting information will be released on the production website at a later date.
