Man to appear in court after break in at charity shop in Sevenoaks High Street

A Sevenoaks man who had been remanded in custody after an investigation into a break in at a charity shop in the town was due to appear in court today (27 March 2020).

The suspected burglar was charged following a break-in at the Children’s Trust in the High Street, after entry to the premises was forced between 27 February and 3 March 2020. A quantity of cash as well as items of jewellery were reportedly stolen.

An investigation led to the arrest of a suspect on Thursday 26 March. Adrian Warnaski, aged 31, of Blacks Yard, Sevenoaks, was later charged with burglary. He was also charged with a separate and unrelated offence of common assault.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 27 March.
