Healthy eating out couldn’t be easier thanks to new collaboration between The Better Body Group and Sevenoaks restaurants

DINERS in Sevenoaks can now easily combine healthy eating with meals out, thanks to a new initiative created by Sevenoaks gym, The Better Body Group (BBG). Whether it is a delicious dinner date, a grab and go lunch or even a coffee shop breakfast, the new BBG approved plan covers all bases.

By looking out for BBG approved stickers in restaurant windows and on their menus, those wanting to treat themselves to a meal out, while still following a healthy eating plan, can rest assured they will get the best of both worlds.

The restaurants included in the BBG Approved plan include:

  • Nonna Cappucinis
  • Fego
  • The Vine
  • Otto’s
  • Brisket and Barrel
  • Pronto
  • Eat’N’Mess

Plus more Sevenoaks restaurants will be joining the scheme in the future.

Some examples of the delicious healthier options include a Vegetable Curry with 288 calories, a Garden Pea and Broad Bean Risotto with 380 calories, and a superfood salad with 340kcal.

The Better Body Group creates bespoke nutrition plans for its clients to follow, helping them to transform their bodies and lose weight, alongside tailored exercise plans from the gym’s expert personal trainers. These plans now include meals from independent Sevenoaks restaurants, giving people the option to eat out, which is often avoided by those counting calories. However, anyone in the area who is looking for healthy options can also take advantage of the scheme.

Chris Wharton from the Better Body Group said: “At the Better Body Group, we don’t believe in restrictive ‘diets’ that require you to swerve every social situation because you are worried about falling off the wagon. Just because you are looking to get in shape doesn’t mean you need to give up socialising or sacrifice whole food groups. There is a better way.

“We are proud to partner up with some of Sevenoaks’ most popular restaurants to give you our BBG approved meal options. All of the meals in this initiative fit with our six-week transformation fat loss plan and come complete with calorie content. Simply look for our BBG approved stickers in restaurant windows and logos on their menus for a host of health, nutrient dense meals that won’t affect your waistline. ”

A spokesperson from Otto’s said: “We feel that our seasonal menus fit the brief nicely. All of our ingredients are responsibly and locally sourced and we are passionate about making food that fuels the body in a nutritious way. We offer fresh juices and smoothies that are good for the soul. We have recently started roasting our own coffee, so we have the caffeine to keep everyone going too!”
