FARNINGHAM & EYNSFORD LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY: The society AGM is being held on 18 May in Farningham Village Hall, starting at 8pm. There will be a photographic display and free refreshments after the meeting. Entry is free entry.

MEDIEVAL WEEKEND: Lullingstone Castle will be hosting two days of medieval nostalgia on Sunday 27 May and Monday 28 May. Adults £10 and children under 15 years  free.

EYNSFORD VILLAGE ARTISAN CRAFTS, VINTAGE & GIFT FAIR: Eynsford village hall is the venue for a crafts and gift fair on Saturday 2 June between 11am -3 pm. Entry for visitors is free but if you would like to book a stall contact Nick Day 07582351364

FARNINGHAM CHURCH FETE: Games, a Fun Dog Show and Children’s races are just some of the attractions at the Farningham Church Fete on Saturday 9 June from midday to 4 pm. There will also be music, dancing, and refreshments. All money raised will go towards supporting Farningham Church. If you can volunteer to help or wish to take a stall contact Vikki on 01322861931. EYNSFORD GARDEN SAFARI: Take a tour of some beautiful local gardens on Sunday 17 June to complete a great day attend the big Concert in the Castle with the  Eynsford Concert Band and DVYM starting at 3pm.

DARCEY BUSSELL’S DDMIX DANCEFIT: Have fun and keep fit with, easy and simple to follow dances inspired from the 40’s, 50’s 60’, 70’s + and across different cultures.  The event is in Farningham Village Hall from 12.30pm on Tuesdays and it is suitable for all abilities.  To book, contact Sheree on 07833 449630 or email

TARGET OVARIAN CANCER: Ladies who belong to Eynsford’s ‘Sew n Sews’ patchwork quilting group have made a bedsize quilt to be raffled in September in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer in support of one of their members.  They are also happy to display the quilt to any small local group interested and bring awareness leaflets and sell prize draw tickets all in aid of the Charity.  Please contact  Photos and more details can be seen on

FARNINGHAM CRICKET CLUB now has a Ladies Section and is keen in attracting new players.  Training is on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm onwards. The ladies section is also hosting a Softball Festival (cricket with a softer ball) on the 1 July and everyone is welcome to attend. The cricket will start at 11am and there will be a bar, barbecue and an array of stalls to enjoy. TEA AND CHAT: This friendly group meets every Thursday at Farningham Village Hall and offers a supportive and enjoyable break to anyone who is lonely or perhaps just needs a little time away from their house or would like to meet some new friends, chat and share some cake and tea.   Contact
