FARNINGHAM CHURCH FETE: Games, a Fun Dog Show and Children’s races are just some of the attractions at the Farningham Church Fete on Saturday 9 June from midday to 4 pm. TARGET OVARIAN CANCER: Ladies who belong to Eynsford’s ‘Sew n Sews’ patchwork quilting group have made a bedsize quilt to be raffled in September in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer in support of one of their members. They are also happy to display the quilt to any small local group interested and bring awareness leaflets and sell prize draw tickets all in aid of the Charity. FARNINGHAM CRICKET CLUB now has a Ladies Section and is keen in attracting new players. Training is on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm onwards. The ladies section is also hosting a Softball Festival (cricket with a softer ball) on the 1 July and everyone is welcome to attend. The cricket will start at 11am and there will be a bar, barbecue and an array of stalls to enjoy.
