Sevenoaks Mum, Ambassador and Family Solicitor. Meet Sarah Johnston.
Having practiced Family law since qualifying in 2009, Sarah Johnston is now an indispensable addition to the team at Manak Solicitors in Sevenoaks. Sarah has provided friendly and refreshing solutions to often delicate family disputes since joining the firm in 2019. With three young children of her own, Sarah combines empathy with professionalism to prioritise the interests of all those involved.
As a local resident, Sarah has become familiar with many aspects of the Sevenoaks area, from schools to the ever changing property market. With her husband Steve serving as a coach and player at the Sevenoaks rugby club, fresh community insights means Sarah can offer clients a clear and amicable route through an often fraught and confusing time.
Commitment to helping families is extended beyond her work as a Solicitor at Manaks. Outside of the office Sarah has recently taken up a post as an ambassador for the local charity ‘Friends for Families’. Here she hopes to utilise her knowledge to support families facing financial hardship.
There is no doubt that hardship, be it financial or emotional, has placed a strain on many households in the current pandemic. This can make resolving family matters an even more intimidating process than before. From cases involving divorce, private matters relating to children, financial matters arising from separation or divorce, disputes between unmarried couples, pre-marital agreements, cohabitation agreements and injunction proceedings, Sarah’s dignified approach and expertise offers a breath of fresh air to any of these complex circumstances.
With Covid 19 having snatched most of our freedoms, it is reassuring to know that Manak Solicitors are still open to serve the Sevenoaks community. Having enforced all the necessary safety measures in their modern office, clients wishing to seek advice to resolve a pressing family matter are still able to benefit from their supportive and confidential service. For individuals who may be shielding or too anxious to leave their home right now, a friendly telephone appointment or video call can also be arranged.
If you would like to make an appointment, Manaks are offering a discounted rate of £125 plus VAT for an initial hour. There is no obligation to formally instruct at this stage, and this time may be used for early advice, such as taking the first step to a divorce, or to shed some light surrounding the confusion of childcare arrangements during lockdown.
At a time like now where clarity and guidance is needed more than ever, knowing that local support is just a phone call away gives a sense of certainty in these somewhat uncertain times.
