Quilters aim to raise £3,000 for Ovarian cancer charity

PANSY PARADE CHARITY QUILT FOR OVARIAN CANCER. The beautiful patchwork bed quilt ornamented with lovely pansies made by Eynsford’ s ‘Sew n Sews’ quilting group will be raffled in September in aid of raising funds and awareness for Target Ovarian Cancer. So far the group has raised over £2,677 for ovarian cancer and the aim now is to raise this to £3,000.  Local groups have been invited to put the quilt on display at their events to raise awareness and enable the sale of raffle tickets  in aid of the Charity. It will also be on display at the Heavy Horse Show in Shoreham on 2 September. For information please contact   helenhorobin@sky.com.
