Police hope man in blurred CCTV picture can help them solve car theft from Eynsford

A CCTV image (pictured) has been issued by officers investigating the theft of a car from Eynsford.

The Audi Q2 was reportedly stolen at around 5pm on Tuesday 26 May 2020, following the theft of the keys while the victim was distracted in the Riverside area close to the Ford which is a favourite for visitors.

The vehicle which was parked nearby was seen to leave towards Dartford. Enquiries in the area have led officers to identify a CCTV image of a man who may have important information.

Investigating officer, Police Constable Sally du Preez said: “While the image is blurred, we are hoping that somebody will recognise this person and contact us.”

Anyone who recognises him is asked to call Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting crime reference 46/88652/20.
