NFU Mutual invests in High Street location
LEADING rural insurer NFU Mutual has chosen Sevenoaks High Street as its latest business base in Kent.
The move will make it easier for existing and new customers to come in and discuss their insurance needs face to face, particularly where their needs are more complex involving high-value homes, collections or listed buildings.

Agent Karen Smeed from Meopham has joined forces with Andrew Siggs and Matthew Griffin from NFU Mutual’s former office in Edenbridge to launch the new Sevenoaks branch, which is now open for business.
“We are delighted to be bucking the trend and investing in this prestigious High Street location,” explained Karen Smeed.
“Sevenoaks provides a great business base to continue to offer expert insurance and financial services to our long-term clients and members, as well as growing our services for high net worth and affluent homeowners. Although many people know us as a farming and general car and home insurer, we offer tailored advice and protection for high-value homes, estates, art and collectables.”
Karen, Andrew and Matthew have recruited four additional staff, including two graduate trainees, to further strengthen and grow their team of 14 across the two branches.
Agent Andrew Siggs added: “We have a team of local experts on hand to offer a truly personal service in the local community. In an automated world, our approach is all about real people having real conversations and we’re proud to have Sevenoaks High Street as our new home.”
