Give your face a treat with a hydrafacial at Prime Aesthetics

The staff at Prime Aesthetics are proud that they can offer many different treatments for all different skin concerns. Here, they explain how their hydrafacial treatments ensure you can choose the best treatment to suit you

HYDRAFACIAL treatment is a non-invasive, multistep treatment that combines the benefits of next-level hydradermabrasion, a chemical peel, automated painless extractions (no pinching!) and a special delivery of Antioxidants, Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides.

It does all of this in one quick treatment that delivers real results without downtime or irritation. HydraFacial treatment delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types.

Treatment: A six-stage process that is done with a Hydrafacial device — a high-tech gadget that looks like a pen but dispenses serums and sucks out debris from the skin.

What it involves: Using different treatment heads, the device gives the skin a lymph drainage massage; performs microdermabrasion to remove dead and polluted skin cells; and then applies glycolic and salicylic acid (an exfoliating acid derived from sugar cane), which softens blockages in the pores.

Everything is then vacuumed out, leaving the skin much smoother and more receptive to the dose of complexion-boosting vitamins, peptides and moisturising hyaluronic acid that follows in order to smooth out wrinkles. The final step is a few minutes under a red or blue LED light, which calms the skin and stimulates collagen formation, Alternatively the Blue light kills bacteria which helps improve acne.

How it feels: The experience is a bit like a high-tech car wash for the face. The treatment head of the device is constantly being changed and then worked over the whole face, so there is no pampering massage involved.

The clever tip of the Hydrafacial sucks the water back up as fast as it is delivered, so you don’t end up covered with water or serum.

The results: Your skin might look a little pink at the end of the session — but is also fresh and glowing. There is no downtime with this facial so if you do go pink it’ll calm down within a few hours.

It leaves the skin wonderfully clean and plumped up from the hyaluronic acid and peptide solution.
