Rory Crawford, the man behind Combat Fight Series

For those already immersed in the world of fighting sports, Rory Crawford is a name you’ll undoubtedly recognise. For everyone else, once you understand his incredible background, it’s clear why he’s the driving force behind the gold-standard sporting spectacle that is Combat Fight Series.

Rory’s journey into Muay Thai and K1 began at 18, and over a 12-year career, he climbed to the pinnacle of the sport, claiming Southern Area, English, British, and European titles. His passion saw him make six trips to Thailand, the spiritual home of Muay Thai, to train with elite coaches and immerse himself in its cultural roots.

At 30, Rory stepped away from competitive fighting to focus on family life with the arrival of his daughter. But leaving the sport entirely was unthinkable. Muay Thai had shaped his life, teaching him resilience, respect, and discipline while instilling a deep appreciation for physical and mental wellbeing. Determined to stay connected, Rory founded CFS as a platform to showcase the very best in Muay Thai and K1.

Thanks to his extensive network of fighters, coaches, gyms and promoters, Rory has built a series that’s taken the UK by storm, bringing high-level events to towns like Sevenoaks. Juggling everything from event production to media, he’s a man with a packed schedule – though he still finds time to coach and compete in CrossFit.
