Cats and dogs looking for love on Valentine’s Day

This Valentine’s Day, dogs and cats at Battersea’s Brands Hatch centre near Sevenoaks have written some lonely-hearts ads in the hope of finding their perfect match.

Anna Hemmings, Centre Manager at the Kent rehoming site, said: “Some of our animals have been waiting a while for love. Hopefully Cupid will be kind and help them find their match sooner rather than later.”

Battersea recently launched its new campaign, Rescue Is Our Favourite Breed, to celebrate all rescue animals and show that they are all worthy of love, no matter their size or shape.

Anna continues; “We have a team of dedicated and experienced ‘matchmakers’, who will help you to find your ideal match. Whether you live in a town or the countryside, or prefer cosy days in over an active lifestyle, we will have the perfect pet for you.”

About: “I came to Battersea Brands Hatch as a stray over 100 days ago, but so far haven’t had much luck in finding a person to call my own.
