FARNINGHAM CHURCH FETE: Games, a Fun Dog Show and Children’s races are just some of the attractions at the Farningham Church Fete on Saturday 9 June from midday to 4 pm. TARGET OVARIAN CANCER: Ladies who belong to Eynsford’s ‘Sew n Sews’ patchwork quilting group have made a bedsize quilt to be raffled in September in aid of Target Ovarian Cancer in support of one of their members. FARNINGHAM CRICKET CLUB now has a Ladies Section and is keen in attracting new players. Training is on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm onwards. The ladies section is also hosting a Softball Festival (cricket with a softer ball) on the 1 July and everyone is welcome to attend. The cricket will start at 11am and there will be a bar, barbecue and an array of stalls to enjoy.
