Learn CPR skills at our free community event

On the evening of Thursday 23rd March My Sevenoaks Community and Sevenoaks Medical Centre will be holding a free drop-in session for people to learn CPR skills.

Knowing how to perform CPR is an important skill that saves lives, and is a skill that everyone should know. Currently less than 10% of people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest. But CPR can help improve those odds. If it is performed in the first few minutes of cardiac arrest, CPR can double or triple a person’s chance of survival.

The training will be led by Jamie Morrison, Sevenoaks Medical Centre’s Clinical Skills and Lead Resuscitation Officer. She will be teaching CPR skills throughout the evening.

This will be held at Sevenoaks Medical Centre, London Road, Sevenoaks TN13 2JD between 4.30pm and 7.30pm. This is open to anyone over the age of 10.
