Hospice in the Weald launch their new #HeartsForMyHospice campaign

At Hospice in the Weald, we know the importance of having heart to heart conversations with our loved ones. In recent weeks, these conversations have been more important than ever, but they have looked a little different.

As we all explore new ways of keeping in touch, our Hospice team are doing everything possible to be there for patients and families facing terminal illness during this time. We are working to make sure that every patient and their family is able to access the care they need – including counselling via phone and video. As well as keeping in touch, many of us have found new ways to show our love where we can’t see each other face to face.

Bev, a volunteer for the Hospice, has made a heart for each of her daughters, who she isn’t able to be with at this time. The hearts are hanging in her window for now, but as soon as she can see her two girls, Bev plans to give them the hearts for them to keep.  We’re all missing our loved ones during these times, but by sharing a heart, you can send love down your street, across town, or across an ocean, and into the hearts of those we are missing and those facing terminal illness.

Thank you for keeping your loved ones and Hospice in the Weald in your heart during these difficult times.
