1st August
Open Air Jazz Night – 6-11pm
Reuthes Lost Gardens Sevenoaks
Enjoy a joyfully jazzy night of live music, in the spectacular surroundings of Reuthes Lost Gardens Sevenoaks. Major To Minor will take music lovers on a roller coaster ride from the 1920’s and 1930’s, all the way to the nineties and naughties.
The beautiful terrace at Reuthes is the perfect spot for music, and the band, fronted by singer Jamie Alexander Wilson, will also feature Sam Hall on keys, Peter Ashwell on drums, Ollie Copeland on double bass, and Jonny Vaux on saxophone. The musical journey will begin with jazz standards from George Gershwin, Irving Berlin and Cole Porter, and swing through the sixties and seventies with hits from Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin, before landing in the nineties and naughties, with music from Amy Winehouse and Oasis.
Cabaret seating will allow you to book a table for family and friends, and the bar will be open to help the evening go with a swing.
As the sun goes down, the terrace at Reuthes will come alive with the saxy sounds of Major To Minor, but if the British summer lets us down, seating will be available undercover in Reuthes large stretch tent and gazebos.
Entry will be from 6pm, and music begins at 7pm. Last orders will be at 10.15pm and the gates will close at 11pm.
Tickets are priced £22.50 and seating is limited, so book your table now on the open air terrace, and settle in for a magical evening of jazz at Reuthes!
