Ten new luxury homes right in the centre of Sevenoaks with views across Knole Park go on sale
Just over a year ago My Sevenoaks Community Editor Frank Baldwin was invited to take a tour of the new long stay multi-storey car park in Buckhurst Avenue, Sevenoaks just before it was opened.

Construction Manager Simon Ward of Willmott Dixon mentioned at the time that future plans included building a row of townhouses behind the new facility and the income generated from sales would cover the £10m cost of building the new car park.
As they are shielded by the multi-storey car park the new Burlington Mews development has been constructed almost unnoticed except by people visiting the Leisure Centre and the environmental park, but the collection of 10 contemporary luxury townhouses, each with sweeping views across Knole Park, is almost complete and the properties are now on sale through Savills in Sevenoaks.
Two of the new homes have already been sold off-plan, with strong interest in the remaining properties.
The small development is within a secluded, gated setting just a two-minute walk away from the centre of Sevenoaks.
The four-bedroom homes will be finished to a high specification, including bespoke kitchens and handcrafted dressing rooms from Chamber Furniture in Sevenoaks.
Several other locally based businesses are involved in the new development, including contractor AB Canham & Son, HD Marketing and Beau Property, who did the interior dressing.
Each property is over four floors, with features including an open plan ground floor and bi-fold doors to a private courtyard, full height glazing, a first floor balcony off the living room, dramatic double height reception space and a third floor devoted to the master suite.
