Sevenoaks Players break new ground with sexually explicit production of The Graduate at The Stag
THE SEVENOAKS Players are presenting the smash hit play ‘The Graduate’ on Thursday 8 November until Sunday 11 November at the Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks. This wonderful play is an adaptation of the 1968 film starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft.
The Sevenoaks Players are in their 96th year and this is the first time they have presented such a sexually explicit production.
Callum McFarland plays Benjamin Braddock and Ruth Makepeace stars as Mrs Robinson. They are supported by an incredible cast of fellow actors including Matt Hockersmith, an accomplished American actor who flew in from Denver Colorado this week in time for the dress rehearsal. He is returning home on Tuesday 13 November.
The play is directed by Vivien Cleary, who is a highly acclaimed director from the Geoffrey Whitworth Theatre in Crayford. This is her first production for The Sevenoaks Players.
Performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday are at 7.45 pm with a Saturday matinee at 3pm and Sunday at 6pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Stag Box Office or by calling 01732 450175.
