NFU Mutual Sevenoaks welcomes new member to the team
PHIL Boobbyer recently joined insurance agency NFU Mutual Sevenoaks to head marketing and communications.

As a Sevenoaks local, Phil studied at Sevenoaks School, before attending Brunel University to study Product Design. During his studies, Phil undertook a placement, working at a school in Croydon before completing his final year at Brunel, where he designed a new form of modular motorcycle helmet.
Throughout school and university, Phil ran a mobile disco and event planning company, organising anything from birthday parties and weddings to small festivals. Phil discovered his talent in marketing and events and developed a keen knowledge of the local Sevenoaks community.
After completing his degree, Phil went on a charity rally to Mongolia, raising over £3,000 for local and international charities. “Unfortunately, the real world beckoned and I came back to Kent to work as a Self-Employed builder,” said Phil.
In his building career, Phil forged connections within the community and utilised his knowledge of the area to develop relationships with local businesses and customers.
After building on his impressive portfolio working within the construction industry, Phil decided to opt for a change of direction. “After too many cold winters, I needed a change of pace and so have joined the Sevenoaks office of NFU Mutual,” Phil explained. He expressed his excitement at the prospects of joining the Sevenoaks team and emphasised his enthusiasm to integrate back into the local sports teams. “I am excited to re-join Sevenoaks Hockey Club,” he said.
