Food Fest moves to Lullingstone Castle and promises an even bigger menu of culinary and musical delights – plus a feast of new attractions

THE popular Food Fest, which combines a massive feast of gastro and musical delights, is returning to the Sevenoaks area on the 1st and 2nd June in a stunning new venue.

The range of different foods and wines for festival visitors to enjoy is enormous.

The historic Lullingstone Castle located between Eynsford and Shoreham, is providing the backdrop to this year’s event and there are even more attractions on the menu.

As on previous occasions, Food Fest 2019 will be showcasing award-winning UK and international street food which is complimented by a whole array of different wines, ciders, craft beers, cocktails, spirits and lagers.

The festival is designed to be family friendly and children will once again be well catered for through a vintage funfair, giant tug of war, selfie corner, magic shows, street art, kids pie fight, circus acts, arts and crafts.

Glamping is on offer at the Food fest

And this year, for the first time, visitors can take advantage of a VIP glamping experience in the beautiful grounds of Lullingstone Castle which boasts a World Garden and vast lake.

A special health and beauty area will also be offering treatments to festival visitors.

The many different types of music have also proved to be a massive attraction at the festivals and the entertainment will again showcase some of the very best of British unsigned music acts.

There are special guest appearances by Ibiza DJ’s with bongos and sax in the Kings Arabian marquee in the main bar area.

Food Fest 2019 is being supported by Manak Solicitors. Marketing manager Ben Frost said: “We are enormously excited to be partnering with such a fantastic community event. Food Fest brings people together from across Kent and beyond so it was natural that we would want to be involved in supporting them this year at such an incredible venue, Lullingstone Castle.

“At Manak Solicitors we are constantly looking at innovative ways to support local events which genuinely benefit the community and we believe Food Fest certainly does this. We are proud to be helping Jay, Claire and the team ensure this is the best Food Fest to date, and we look forward to being there ourselves!”

The Festival is open from 11am until 9pm on 1 June and 11am until 6pm on 2 June.
