Camp Kindling returns this summer

Camp Kindling, the UK’s summer camp for families, is returning to Kent for the second time this August, and it’s the family summer event we are most excited about!

Set in a stunning forest location, Camp Kindling fuses the experience of a family festival with an activity-packed summer camp, and we can’t wait for this year! With the aim to bring all members of the family together in an immersive weekend of adventure, music and life-affirming inspiration, it’s the perfect opportunity to reconnect with your family and find new passions after what’s seemed like a near endless winter.

Over the course of three days, families can adventure by day, and party by night. During daylight hours families take part in a choice of more than 100 activities, which are included in your ticket, and each activity is designed for the whole family to enjoy together.

At night, the festival transforms into a magical woodland party, with over 50 live bands, DJs, talks and comedians lighting up your night! For those younger campers whose partying days are yet to come, there are fireside bed time stories which are sure to send them of to sleep, ready to dream of tomorrow’s adventures!

When it comes to activities, you’re spoilt for choice. We can’t list all them here because that would take far too long, but you can try your hand at all sorts, such as; zorbing, axe throwing, tree climbing, quad biking, orienteering, bread baking, astronomy, sand art, loom weaving, improv comedy, woodland choir, yoga, etc.

And as if that wasn’t enough, families can meet new people and get into the community spirit by joining a Camp Kindling Patrol: Squirrel, Badger, Hawk or Fox. By participating in activities, families can also earn points for their chosen Patrol and, at the end of the weekend, campers come together to cheer on as Patrols compete in epic Games to determine who will be awarded this year’s Kindling Cup.

If you’re in need of a much-needed break, adults can check themselves in to the Sanctuary, with wood-fired hot tubs and wellness treatments. And for that added bit of luxury, there are options for pre-pitched and boutique bell tents to make your weekend even easier.
