Calling all Commuters! £1 Bowls at Choppaluna’s NEW Holborn Restaurant until Friday 17th February
This week, Choppaluna opened the doors to its second London location and to celebrate they’re offering Londoners lunch bowls for a recession-busting £1.
Following on from its widespread success in Germany and Bloomsbury, London, the newest addition to Choppaluna’s healthy eating joints can be found at 314 High Holborn, a 2-minute donder from both Chancery Lane and Holborn underground stations.
Every day this week a different bowl will be on offer, here’s what they’ve been serving up on the menu:
Monday 13th: Spring Chicken
Tuesday 14th: Mango Chicken
Wednesday 15th: Nacho Avocado
Thursday 16th: Falafel Habibi
Friday 17th: Nut & Berry
What’s more, every day during their opening week, food-lovers can grab special discounts and even a chance to win FREE bowls for a year with the ‘Spin to Win Wheel’.

Choppaluna invited us down to their launch party to see what it’s all about. Healthy, to-go eating options are rocketing in popularity so we were curious to see how a salad bowl could be reinvented as a cool and hearty lunch.
The team had gone all out! When we weren’t keeping a cautious eye on the knife-juggler (yes, he was juggling FIVE large and very sharp kitchen knives!!), we could watch the kitchen crew chop up the freshest veggies right in front of our eyes.
We feasted on ginormous ‘Big Rolls’, cheesy ‘Luna Melts’ (imagine a quesadilla) and, of course, an assortment of the signature ‘Chopped Bowls’. These tasty treats offer up so many flavours, are packed with gut-loving superfoods and did we mention they’re delicious?
Vegetarians and vegans are catered for as abundantly as the meat and fish lovers and with over 60 ingredients to choose from, customising your own bowl is an exciting experience – what combo would you come up with?
Woody Cook (son of Fatboy Slim) was DJ for the night, banging out the tunes from behind his decks and Love Island and Geordie Shore fans were delighted by the guest appearances from Adam Collard and Chloe Ferry.

With tummies suitably full and tastebuds tingling, it was time to say adieu to our hosts – we just know Choppaluna is going to be a huge success.
