Nicola’s Journey: From Horses to Holistic Beauty

A Horse Girl at Heart

Nicola is, in her own words, “a horse girl through and through.” Growing up, she spent her days outdoors, competing with her horses and working in hospitality to support her equestrian life. Creativity was always part of who she was – even as a teenager, she loved doing her sister’s makeup and found joy in the artistic side of beauty.

A Life-Changing Loss

But it was a deeply personal experience that set Nicola on the path she’s on today. When she was 29, Nicola lost her mother. During her mother’s time in hospital, Nicola would give her little massages and mini manicures to help lift her spirits and bring moments of comfort. Those tender acts stayed with Nicola and planted the seed for a career focused on caring for others and helping them feel their best.

Discovering a New Passion

After taking time to grieve, Nicola found herself working as a receptionist at a salon in Green Street Green. Though new to the client-facing beauty industry, her warmth and compassion shone through. She quickly trained further, qualifying through a Jane Iredale course and taking on her own clients. Over the next decade at the popular salon, Nicola became a trusted local therapist, building loyal relationships and expanding her skills.

Taking the Leap to Go Solo

In February 2025, Nicola took the leap and launched her business full-time from her home in Kemsing, Sevenoaks. “I wanted to create a space that worked around starting a family, and where I could be more flexible with my hours. It’s been the best decision, I feel so happy and incredibly lucky.”
