Many village events and clubs are being put on hold during the Coronavirus outbreak. Please check with organisers before attending any planned events in Farningham and Eynsford.

The Spring Concert is on Saturday 21 March at 2 pm at St Martin’s Church in Eynsford.

A fundraising event in aid of the RNLI charity is being held in Farningham Village Hall on 6 March (7.30pm for 8pm start) when musical entertainment will be provided by U3A Acoustic Band (Knights on White Statins) and friends.

St Martin’s Church in Eynsford is holding an Art & Craft Sale on Saturday 14 March, in the church, from 11am to 3pm. With Mothering Sunday on 22 March, it’s a good opportunity to find that special gift.

The locally based PolyChor choir is uniting with the Southwark Sinfonietta to present, in Beethoven’s 250th anniversary year, two of his compositions, the Mass in C, and Symphony No 5 in C minor.

Ed Thompson will give a presentation on Villages of the Upper Darent - a journey from Westerham to Lullingstone, using his vast photographic collection on 28 February in Farningham Village Hall.

Two of Britain’s fastest sprinters visited the site of the old Barclays Bank in Farningham High Street recently to officially open the new Acer House specialist allied-health practice.

Both Eynsford and Farningham will be putting on a pantomime starting this month (January).

Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation in Eynsford had to survive a night of drama recently when a group of thieves, on what is believed to have been quad bikes, tried to break into the sanctuary by cutting through the perimeter fence around midnight.
