The Eynsford Gardener's Club Autumn Show will be held on Sunday, 8 September, at Eynsford Village Hall.

A flytipper who dumped trade waste at the Eynsford Recycling Centre was filmed unloading it from his van despite warning signs that Sevenoaks District Council had CCTV in the area and that fly tipping is an offence.

A special reunion was held at Lullingstone Roman Villa recently to mark the 70th anniversary since excavations started at the historic site near Eynsford.

MUSICAL REUNION: The former 10-piece funk, soul and dance band Digging Deeper is getting back together for a special charity fundraising reunion gig in Eynsford Village Hall on Saturday 28 September (8pm start).

A BOOK SALE is being held in St. Martin's Church, Eynsford, on Saturday 24 August between 10am-12pm.

The fun days include everything from crafts to games and sport in a friendly, safe environment and no booking is needed, simply turn up, but children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Lullingstone Castle is the venue for a quilt and craft festival involving The Quilters Guild from across Kent, Sussex and Surrey on 19,20 & 21 July from 11am-5pm.

Farningham Cricket Club is hosting a Women's Softball Cricket Festival this Sunday (30 June) from 11am - 4pm.

Don't be alarmed. They will be members of the cast from the Sevenoaks Shakespeare Society making their way to rehearsals for an annual open-air production.
