Farningham Cricket Club is hosting a Women's Softball Cricket Festival this Sunday (30 June) from 11am - 4pm.

Don't be alarmed. They will be members of the cast from the Sevenoaks Shakespeare Society making their way to rehearsals for an annual open-air production.

Music, dancing, a fun dog show, BBQ, beer tent, and stalls are all on the list of attractions at this year's Farningham Church Fete.

Farningham Village Hall is managed by a small committee of volunteers. The aim is to raise enough income from the hire fees paid for the activities at the hall to cover the hall maintenance, plus a little extra to pay for repairs and improvements. Can you offer a few hours to volunteer as the social secretary?

The Farningham & Eynsford Local History Society is also holding its AGM on Friday, 31 May, at 8pm in Eynsford Village Hall where there will be an opportunity to browse through items and a scrap book about Anthony Roper Primary School since 1973.

Farningham residents are being reminded to stay vigilant following a report from the local PCSO at a recent Parish Council meeting.

The Axstane Players are holding a celebration of the year in song at Farningham Village Hall on 31 May, and on 1, 7 & 8 June.

Eynsford Baptist Church is hosting a coffee morning on 1 June for BEAMS, a Hextable charity which supports disabled children and their families.
