The next social gathering of the Otford Twinning Society is at The Woodman pub by the pond at 7.30pm on Monday, 16 September.

A retrospective planning application has now been made in respect of changing the use of the former residential care home for elderly people at St Mary's Abbeyfield to a ‘House of Multiple Occupancy’.

Film Club taster session for children from Year 5 and Year 6 at Weald C.P. School was so successful that two more sessions are being planned.

The best of the season’s flowers fruit and vegetables will be on display at the village Memorial Hall on Saturday. The show opens to the public at 2.15pm.

A new Community Rail Partnership involving the stations between Sevenoaks and Swanley has been launched with the aim or promoting tourism and the attractions on offer in the area.
