Otford's response to Coronavirus is a network of ‘Road Fiends’ has been set up. The initiative is being supported by the Parish Council and long-time resident, Rod Shelton, is co-ordinating the process.

The 100-mile cycle ride starts from the charity’s headquarters in Otford on Friday 18 September, with two overnight stops at Lamberhurst and Lewes, before arriving at Arundel, East Sussex, on Sunday, 20 September.

WEald CAREs is a community initiative to provide practical help and companionship in Weald village to those who are housebound and in need.

Pupils from Amherst School will be joining the Sevenoaks Philharmonic Society on the platform for their concert on Sunday 29 March at 7.30pm at the Pamoja Hall at Sevenoaks School.

In response to Coronavirus getting into the village community in the coming weeks, Otford is setting up a network of ‘Road Fiends’.

Many village events and clubs are being put on hold during the Coronavirus outbreak. Please check with organisers before attending any planned events in Farningham and Eynsford.

Otford & District Historical Society meets at 8pm on Wednesday March 18 in the Memorial Halls, doors open from 7.30pm with refreshments. ‘Stone on Stone - the men who built the Cathedrals’ is the talk by Imogen Corrigan.
