THE hottest day of the year so far helped attract a crowd of more than 200 residents and friends to the ‘Summer at the Pavilion’ event in Dunton Green last Saturday (29 June 2019).

The smart new Speed Indicator Device (SID) obtained by Riverhead Parish Council with the help of grants, will be deployed at three different sites (as agreed with Kent Police) in the village for varying periods to remind drivers of their speed.

Farningham Cricket Club is hosting a Women's Softball Cricket Festival this Sunday (30 June) from 11am - 4pm.

DUNTON Green residents are being invited to spend a Saturday afternoon at a free event with live music and family activities in the heart of their local community on Saturday 29 June.

In between the torrential downpours on Saturday 7 June, £410 was raised at the Table Top Sale in the Weald Memorial Hall, which will help to fund extra shelving in the Weald village Community Shop.
