Rix & Kay Solicitors sleep rough for charity that helps vulnerable and homeless young people

A TEAM from  Rix & Kay’s  Sevenoaks office is sleeping rough at The Street Soccer Foundation’s first ever sleep out at Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium on Saturday 30 June.

Rix & Kay regularly works with a wide range of sports clients from grass roots clubs through to high profile sports personalities so were quick to sign up to the charity event which will raise funds to support its nationally acclaimed Street Soccer Academy.

The Street Soccer Foundation’s personal development programme helps vulnerable and homeless young people progress in to work, education or further training.  Tracey Crouch MP, Sports Minister, is providing the Welcome Address to the sleep out’s attending  business community who will  experience first hand some of the realities that Kent’s young homeless face.

Sara Carpenter, Head of Corporate and Commercial at Rix & Kay, said: “Whilst none of our team are relishing the thought of sleeping on cardboard and facing the elements, we’re very proud to offer our support to raise the profile of the invaluable work of The Street Soccer Foundation”.
