Meet Fleur McCrone: Sevenoaks’ Fashion Stylist

Sevenoaks resident Fleur McCrone has fast become a notable name in the world of fashion and style. Having successfully launched her thriving business Fine Styling just five years ago, Fleur has since built a reputable client base including high profile and celebrity names. With both her dedication and desire having fuelled her growing success, she is now fortunate enough to rub shoulders alongside some of the leading fashion houses including Paul Costelloe, Julien MacDonald, and Ba&sh Paris.

Prior to her work as a one to one personal stylist, Fleur’s passion for fashion flourished during the five years she spent in the industry as a Stylist for global accessories and lifestyle brand Stella and Dot. This has enabled a loyal network of women to supplement her transition into a confident entrepreneur. A path which has not only given Fleur the opportunity to fulfil her dreams and goals, but also one that has enabled her to fit life as a local mum of three young children seamlessly alongside her career.

A career that has become a product of Fleur’s willingness to step outside her comfort zone, and one that is backed by her determined and motivated attitude, she has not only assisted numerous clients in their personal growth and confidence, but has also strengthened her own. This has resulted in an abundance of opportunities such as working back stage at multiple London Fashion weeks, assisting the styling of Shirley Ballas on Strictly Come Dancing, styling socialites such as Yasmin and Amber le Bon, presenters Laura Whitmore and Mary Nightingale, to her most recent assignment of styling the Prime Minister’s wife Carey Johnson at the G7 summit. Describing the experience as ‘daunting yet incredibly rewarding’, Fleur’s talented fine eye for styling was showcased on the world’s stage and gained wide approval and praise from the press as Carey’s stunning outfits were received with much awe.

Undoubtedly well connected, Fleur however takes a strategic approach to her business. Using multiple platforms including her website, Instagram, to word of mouth and networking in person, each vessel continues to feed her with new and exciting opportunities for growth. Fleur partly credits her progress and multitude of connections to her time spent completing a diploma at the London College of Style in 2016. Here she was introduced to the innovative and sustainable style concept that is My Wardrobe – a platform which rents luxury fashion from hundreds of designers. Having provided a stepping stone to showcase her talents, she now also lectures at The London College of Style on their Personal Styling Diploma course which enables her to share her spirit and knowledge about the world of fashion and style.

Wishing to continue her quest to impact people’s lives through clothes as a vehicle to help boost confidence remains the true motivation for her job. Ambitious, yet humble, Fleur wishes to maintain her local client base whilst building new partnerships and seizing new challenges. Such a challenge came she was given a regular slot as QVC as presenter, which has now sparked a desire to pursue TV as a future career goal.

Currently booked up with clients until the end of the year is sheer testament to Fleur’s talents and repertoire as a stylist. To schedule an appointment to indulge in her services and refresh your wardrobe, contact Fleur below.
