It’s panto time in Eynsford and Farningham – oh yes it is…!

RIVERSIDE PLAYERS will be performing their pantomime Little Red Riding Hood in Eynsford Village hall on Fridays, 18 and 25 January, at 7.45pm, Saturdays, 19 and 26 January, at 2pm and 7pm, and Sunday, 20 January, at 12.30pm and 4pm. Tickets from the boxoffice@riversideplayers.co.uk

HISTORY AND ORIGINS OF NURSERY RHYMES.  Eynsford & Farningham Local History Society is hosting a short quiz and talk by Dr John Reuther at Eynsford Village Hall on Friday, 15 February, at  7.30pm for 8pm. Society members free, visitors £2.

FARNINGHAM SHOPS EXHIBITION. Due to many requests the exhibition will be on show for a second time in Farningham Village Hall on Saturday, 16 February, from 11am-4pm. Discover Farningham’s past through the many shops that once served the village. There will be many cuttings and scrap books to browse.  Entry is free.

FARNINGHAM VILLAGE HALL AGM. The Village Hall is managed by a small committee of volunteers which meets about four times a year.  The AGM is on Monday, 18 February, at the village hall at 8pm and is open to the public. Everyone is welcome. The committee would like to recruit one or two more representatives from the local community to contribute ideas and help share some of the responsibilities for running the hall. TEA AND CHAT. This friendly group meets every Thursday at Farningham Village Hall  and offers a supportive and enjoyable break to anyone who is lonely or perhaps just needs a little time away from their house or would like to meet some new friends, chat and share some cake and tea.
