Family Department Secretary (Sevenoaks)
Manak Solicitors is a well-established and respected Lexcel accredited solicitors firm with offices in Gravesend, Orpington and Sevenoaks. The firm offers services to private paying clients at present in property, matrimonial, wills and probate as well as employment and commercial work.
They are looking for a new member of secretarial staff to support the Family Department team. This is a new office and offers an exciting opportunity to be involved from the outset in developing the office.
Working as a member of a small tightly knit team of professionals, the candidate will provide legal and administrative support as necessary to support the firm in achieving the high levels of service required by the firm’s clients. Qualities need include:
- Total accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills – especially Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Strong administrative skills with familiarity of office IT systems.
- Possess strong secretarial and audio typing skills.
- Ideally previous experience in family work
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Good client service skills and smart appearance.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, verbally and in writing.
- Good educational background with high standards of literacy and numeracy
