Enforcement agents close Caffe Nero in Sevenoaks High Street

The specialist coffee outlet Caffe Nero in Sevenoaks High Street has been shut down according to a notice that appeared on the door today (Monday 28 September).

The notice from civil enforcement agents J P Dawkins Ltd says it is acting on behalf of the landlord to enter, secure and recover possessions from the premises.

The Caffe Nero retail outlet at 112 High Street, Sevenoaks, is next door to the former Thomas Cook travel agents which also closed its doors last year. The company was taken over by Hays Travel.

  • Coffee is a matter of taste I personally and my friends much enjoy Nero’s coffee and in particular this branch for sure like most Cafe Nero’s offer very good pastries better than the majority of High St cafes another advantage of this branch was the very comfortable sofas rarely seen elsewhere.
Myself and my friends much regret the closing of this cafe.

  • Its not really specialist coffee – bitter dark roast Italian style commercial rubbish. No wonder it closed down. Sevenoaks is blessed with some really good coffee if you know where to look. Eat-n-mess have very good coffee, Life on High is great (roasts its own beans on site), and Ottos at the far end of the High Street is ok too.
